We stumbled upon this hidden gem as we are staying close-by at my cousin’s house. We had previously been staying in La Condesa Zone and none of the food can compare to this. The mole, amazing, the meat, amazing, the beans amazing, the cafe con crema DELICIOUS!

My thousandth visit... and counting. I've lost count of how many times I've been to this place, but each visit tastes like the first. The flavor is simply unforgettable. Everything here is special: the decor has its charm, the service is warm, and the dishes... wow, one gem after another. I always recommend the special huarache and the beef broth, but today I had one with rajas and chicken, and it was a total delight. One of those that makes you close your eyes with every bite. Expert tip: During the week, there are fewer people, but the food takes a while to come out. Nothing serious, but it's best to come slowly... because the wait is completely worth it. You don't come here to eat quickly... you come here to eat well. Follow me for more places that taste like home with seasoning.

Extraordinary Huaraches and Mexican snack food. The place is small but inside it is very picturesque, outside there are also tables for diners. The prices for the portion size and the flavor are worth it, a huarache is approximately 115 or more pesos depending on what you put in it, but the flavor is incredible, the rib and carnitas are great. Also next door there is a canteen and they allow you to order beer or a drink and you can drink it there and vice versa. Extraordinary service, very friendly and delicious. I loved the place and will definitely return. Just be calm because parking is difficult because there are few spaces on the street. But it is very worth it.

Brought by the curiosity of this hidden restaurant in Portales, I arrived with high expectations for the good recommendations and I must say that I left satisfied in every way. The menu is quite diverse, it has Mexican snacks for everyone and in a considerable quantity. The huaraches are undoubtedly the specialty of the house and they let you know it from the moment you enter and see the grill where the cooks are making each huarache and tortilla by hand at the moment along with the intoxicating smell of the meat that is being cooked on the grill. There is everything: simple huaraches with cheese, with cream, all the traditional meats but the most important thing is that they are all delicious and are served generously. The jewel in the crown is undoubtedly the special huarache that is presented with ribs, onions, and nopales, although in reality it is not one but 2 huaraches of 25 cm each. They have a dish called "Azteca" that you can combine with your sopes to give them more flavor since it has melted cheese, nopal onions, chicharron, papalo (great detail) and that they put in the center so that everyone can enjoy it. The sauces are the ideal complement, they are not spicy but have a unique flavor. Something important to mention is that the menu is missing some products such as handmade tortillas or 1 liter water, which for me are a "must" but we hope it is something they add for future visits. The prices are quite affordable for a good Saturday lunch and the atmosphere is great. It's like eating in a rustic inn with its wonderful contrast of the color of the mosaics and the ceiling with its sober walls decorated with photos of people like Maria Felix, as well as having a slightly more private room, which I would love for larger family gatherings. The service is very friendly, all the waiters are always attentive and give you options to eat. Without a doubt it has been one of the places that has left me more than satisfied in every way and that I hope to visit again very soon.

Excellent, without a doubt the double huarache, an area of opportunity for the cafe de roca... but without a doubt great place, they fry the dough in some very very good seasoning... without details, clean, deceptive with the size, it is larger than it appears . Return.

You definitely have to come and try the snacks at this somewhat hidden spot, preferred by true connoisseurs of the good flavors of Mexican cuisine. On weekends, you have to wait in line, but it's worth it, especially if you can get a seat in the quiet, well-appointed back room, since everything else is a busy hallway. Of course, the huaraches are the star, but there are many other great items on the menu. Don't miss it!
